I love Sunday mornings.
This semester church doesn't start until 1 p.m. so most of my roommates sleep in until 10:30 or 11 a.m (sometimes later). I have never been a big "sleeping in" person so naturally, I am up by nine on most Sundays.
I love the quiet time that I can spend by myself. I never really get to experience that any other time of the week. Throughout the week, I am constantly around other people - talking or listening to them. The noise of construction, loud cars, yelling, and music is pretty typical outside my window and my mind is always a buzz with what I need to do and everything I am thinking.
On Sundays though, I feel complete peace. I love to wake up early and lay in bed just so I can soak up the quiet. I love the sunshine that slips in through my window. I love reading my scriptures with no distractions. I love indexing and creating stories for each of the families I record. I love listening to the Mormon Tabernacle Choir and think of getting ready for church back at home. I love thinking of our family and each person in it. I love thinking of all my blessings and the beautiful world Heavenly Father gave us.
I just love it.
I found your blog and I think I'm going to stalk you a little, if that's ok :) And I completely agree about Sundays. Absolute best!
